Norm conflicts occur when there is a clash between different societal or cultural norms, values, or expectations. These conflicts can arise when individuals or groups hold differing beliefs about what is acceptable or appropriate behavior in a given situation. Norm conflicts can lead to tension, misunderstandings, and disagreements, as people try to navigate and reconcile the conflicting norms. Resolving norm conflicts often requires open communication, empathy, and a willingness to compromise or find common ground. **

Abstract norm control refers to the regulation of behavior through general principles and values, such as laws and social norms. It focuses on shaping behavior through broad guidelines and expectations. On the other hand, concrete norm control involves the specific application of rules and regulations to monitor and enforce behavior. It is more focused on the detailed implementation and enforcement of specific norms and rules in specific situations. In essence, abstract norm control sets the overarching framework for behavior, while concrete norm control ensures that individuals adhere to specific rules and regulations within that framework. **

A legal norm is a rule or principle that is established and enforced by a legal authority, such as a government or a court. It sets out the expected behavior or conduct of individuals or entities within a society. Legal norms help maintain order, regulate interactions between people, and provide a framework for resolving disputes. Violating a legal norm can result in legal consequences, such as fines, imprisonment, or other penalties. **

Whether something is considered the norm or not depends on various factors such as cultural, societal, or individual perspectives. What may be considered normal in one context could be seen as unusual in another. It's important to consider the specific context and criteria being used to determine what is considered the norm in any given situation. **

A withdrawn norm refers to a societal or cultural expectation that was once widely accepted but has since become outdated or no longer enforced. This can happen due to changes in values, beliefs, or social norms. When a norm becomes withdrawn, it means that it is no longer considered relevant or necessary in contemporary society. **

Norm conformity refers to the act of adhering to the established social, cultural, or behavioral norms within a particular group or society. It involves aligning one's attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors with the prevailing standards and expectations of the group in order to fit in and be accepted. Norm conformity can be both explicit, such as following laws and rules, and implicit, such as conforming to unwritten social norms and expectations. It is a fundamental aspect of social interaction and plays a significant role in shaping individual and collective behavior. **

Disrespectful behavior is not the norm, but it does occur in various social settings. While most people strive to treat others with respect, there are instances where disrespectful behavior can be observed. It is important to address and discourage disrespectful behavior in order to promote a culture of mutual respect and understanding. By setting clear expectations and consequences for disrespectful behavior, we can work towards creating a more respectful and inclusive environment. **

Abstract norm control refers to rules or guidelines that are general and broad, focusing on principles and values rather than specific actions. Concrete norm control, on the other hand, involves specific, detailed rules that dictate behavior in a particular situation. Abstract norm controls provide a framework for decision-making, while concrete norm controls offer clear instructions on what to do in a given circumstance. Both types of norm controls are important in guiding behavior and ensuring compliance with established norms and standards. **
